Zoom Solitaire is a modest evolutionary contribution to the traditional card games canon: a minimal-footprint, head-empty pass-the-time pastime to get your restless brain through those "quick calls" that you can't keep your focus on without a dopamine drip.

It is similar to "One-Handed Solitaire", which I found during the pandemic. I refined the rules to play faster and create longer and more frequent chain reactions. Basic rules can be seen in the image in the sidebar, but the pdf has some variant rules and design commentary.

This game is a Foolish Endeavor by David Perry. Yes, I feel a little silly creating a formal itch page for such a simple traditional card game... but if you appreciate it, check out my other stuff!
